Here at Key West Food Tours, we ONLY eat seafood…as in, we SEE food and we eat it, so of course, you can expect to see us at the upcoming 14th Annual Florida Keys Seafood Festival this January, 2021. This two-day celebration of the bounty of the sea goes on Saturday, AND Sunday, at Bayview Park, Key West.
The small admission for adults helps to benefit sustainable fisheries management programs and youth scholarships, and in return, enters you into a raffle for $250 worth of seafood. WooHoo! And the little ones are free!
It’s great events like The Seafood Festival that bring all the locals to the yard to celebrate community bringing families and friends together in a fun and relaxing environment to sample the local catch. The family-friendly event showcases local seafood and the Keys’ commercial fishing industry (our 2nd biggest industry behind tourism) by providing the freshest local delicacies available at reasonable prices. So, if your goal was to come to Key West and eat all the seafood, this event is for you.
To top it off, the 2-yummy-days include celebrity chef demonstrations, hands-on eco activities, a new boat show and live entertainment all day long.
The 2021 Florida Keys Seafood Festival Menu will include:
- Fried Fish (baskets or platters with slaw and black beans & rice)
- Grilled Spiny Lobster
- Stone Crab Claws with key lime mustard sauce
- Peel n’ Eat Key West Pink Shrimp with cocktail sauce
- Smoked Fish Dip with crackers
- Creamy Lobster Bisque
- Bahamian style Conch Chowder, Conch Ceviche, & Conch Fritters
- Hot dogs and Hamburgers for the landlubbers!
- Beverages: beer, wine, rumritas, rumrunners, water, and soda
- Desserts: Estella’s Famous Flan, Natilla, and Key Lime Pie and other homemade treats

In addition to the raffles, drawn after 2:00 p.m.and between band breaks, there’s an entire section of booths featuring local crafts, art, and handmade goods! There’s fun for the kids as well. You can expect face-painting, hands-on activities, and a Children’s Eco Discovery Zone on both days. So bring a lawn chair or a blanket, spread out on the lawn, eat, browse, stay the day, and, most of all, ENJOY!
